Making Time to Read

Have you been making excuses about why you don’t have time to read (like me)?
PS I typically carry either a hardcopy book, my iPad, or my nook around with me to read in the city. It’s perfect for (long) subway rides. I also downloaded Nook for my iPhone for when I’m simply without a book. Not the biggest screen in the world, but after a couple of minutes, I adjust to the smallness and read, read, read!

I think forcing yourself to go to bed a little earlier than usual & taking 15 mins to read makes a huge difference in life. Of course sometimes when the book is too good you stay up and don't get enough sleep- definitely had that problem!

Great article! I always try to make time to read, but with school starting again, it has definitely been hard. Thanks for the post, Carly! Now I am motivated to make some time to read some leisure books!

The article came up on my Facebook newsfeed, and I love it. I think we can SAY we don't have time to do things that we really love, but there is always a way and it is usually the best thing to do. At least for me, reading is a really important mental health break and I can definitely feel when I haven't been doing it enough…like now.
