So I have this tendency to think that summer is basically over after the Fourth. In Florida, we used to go back to school essentially the first week of August. The summer would seriously slip through our fingers mid-July.
While we did just experience a miserable heat wave and thankfully I think it’s 100% behind us, but… I still want to hang onto summer! I spent a good portion of June in a major panic attack (seriously, that was rough). I feel like I totally wasted a solid month of summer. Boo.
But it’s okay!
Although I’m super tempted to start shopping for cute boot (oh my goodness I love these booties), I’m pulling myself out of this little funk and getting back into summer mode! I have a fun trip coming up this week and I created a playlist to really set the mood.
