American Dream

This has been a super low-key, but really wonderful Fourth of July. (It’s raining outside right now, so we’re kind of trapped indoors for now!)
With nothing on the schedule, it was the best to be able to sleep in. My bed in NYC is really great, but there is just nothing better than cozying up in your childhood bed, pink and green striped sheets and all. We went on a couple of coffee runs, spent time getting ready for dinner, relaxed by the pool, hung out with friends, and did a tiny bit of reading.
We all donned, of course, our favorite red, white, and blue outfits!
(I forgot just how humid and hot it is here… It’s been hot in the city, but it does not even compare to Florida. Whoa. My poor hair is only salvaged by french braids, buns, and scarves.)

Vineyard Vines Dress (c/o) // Jack Rogers Sandals // Old Scarf (similar) // Warby Parker Sunnies (c/o) // Rope Bracelet (c/o) // Monogrammed Bracelet // C. Wonder Earrings (c/o)

And now we’re off to dinner!

How was your Fourth of July?

xoxo

PS I love having my sister around; it’s so fun to take pictures with her!

My 4th went pretty well! We all had a family dinner and my boyfriend and I might head out to see some fireworks later if weather permits 🙂
