My last Mexico outfit!!! I’m sad I have nothing else to share, but I did save my favorite look for last. After dressing up for two nights (a coral scalloped dress and a black/white striped dress), I was ready for a lightweight dress, wet hair, a tiny bit of makeup, and flats.
I posted about this dress a month ago and was dying to get somewhere warm so I could wear it for the first time. Yep, I’ll be wearing this all summer long. For sizing reference, I got the XS and definitely think I could go up a size for a looser, more casual fit.
I’ve been carrying this navy and white eyelet tote around everywhere. It’s Vera Bradley!!! (It comes in a yellow and a black version… and a super cute cross body as well.) I’ve been a Vera Bradley customer since middle school. My “signature print” (all the girls in my friend group had their own!) was Apple Green.
(Here’s a 2005 throwback for you… Please note, this was taken exactly ten years ago during a school trip to Chicago. How’s that for coming full circle?)
I still have a bunch of Vera Bradley that I use for traveling; the duffel, of course, and the curling iron holder are favorites of mine. In terms of everyday usage, however, I find that the traditional prints aren’t completely my style. The new leather collection couldn’t be more perfect for twenty-somethings.
The pattern of your tote matches the pattern of your dress, and I'm loving the color scheme! Also loving your dress. It can be worn casually or dressed up, so versatile 🙂 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
LOVE LOVE this dress! {As I type it is in transit to my house.} I can't wait to add it to my spring/summer dress rotation. And great styling with the tote – it really is perfect for work or play.
Ahh LOVE that dress – lightweight summer dresses are amazing! Especially love how it perfectly matches your tote – too perfect! xx, Mikkaela The Southwestern Prepster
You are totally right, this new Vera collection is something I would be much happier buying for everyday use vs the (really lovely) printed bags. I am swooning over the quilted backpacks for the summer! This dress is so so perfect and making me want summer much sooner.
The dress is from Old Navy! I'm totally surprised. I'm also happy because this means that it is a really affordable and easy dress for summer. I think I might need it.
I can't believe that bag is Vera! Like you, when I was in middle & high school every girl had their Vera bags & I still use their makeup bags, straightener holder, & overnights, but I love this grown-up version too 🙂

I recently stayed at @boramcare, a postnatal retreat, in NYC with my three week old and had the BEST experience. 👶🏼 🍼🤱🏻 I was blown away by the services Boram has to offer- they have thought of everything to help mothers recover physically and emotionally after giving birth. Leave a comment with “postnatal retreat” and I will DM you more information about #Boram and even more details about my stay.

Ohh I love that Vera Bradley is growing up their style! It's definitely not my taste anymore either but I love the leather line!
