When I first heard about Reese Witherspoon’s clothing line Draper James, I was incredibly excited. I love Reese’s style so I couldn’t wait to see how she’d bring that to life with a line!
I was kind of on the fence about making a purchase just because the price seemed a little steep. However, I decided to pull the trigger on a dress to see what the quality was like for “research.” Right? I ended up loving the dress. I was really blown away by the whole product from packaging to design. The fit was amazing, too!
This specific dress comes in three prints. I went with the striped dress, but I’m also really loving the coral magnolia!
I’ve already worn the dress twice. Bopping around town in Florida and to speak on a panel here in NYC. It totally can be dressed down with sandals for an everyday look and felt a little dressier with the wedges. #winwin
And… as if the dress isn’t cute enough?! POCKETS!!! The pockets are genius and perfectly placed. Even my big iPhone 6+ slides perfectly into the pocket. They also lay flat since they’re on the front of the dress and don’t create any kind of unflattering flare (like some dress pockets do).

I too have been a little anxious to make a Draper James purchase, purely because of the price, but maybe I'll have to take the plunge! There are SO many pieces I'd love to add to my wardrobe – I don't know if I could stop at just one!
