A Floral Frock

Man, time is flying by. As I’m typing this, I just realized that it’s been almost two weeks since I took these photos. I was in NYC for a couple of events and took photos with Carter before them. It was one of those afternoons where nothing ends up working out the way you plan, but you have no choice other than to roll with it. (I filmed a little vlog of the day if you want some behind the scenes!)

One of my favorite spots in NYC is Bryant Park. There is always something going on and, with plenty of seating available, it’s a great spot to sit and relax. I often meet people here for catch ups or picnic lunches (with sandwiches and accouterments picked up from Maison Kayser across the street).

Of course, the day we show up, the whole park area is under construction! It was a giant dirt pit. I imagine they’re getting ready for the holiday market and ice skating rink, even though it seemed a little aggressively early. (It was about eighty degrees with 90% humidity!)

Button Back Dress

I picked up this dress from Madewell, originally drawn to it by its color. I’ve been so into olive green this year! The details sealed the deal though: dainty buttons down the back, a bow at the neckline, flouncy sleeves, a drop waist, and a delicate floral pattern.

I can’t get over how comfortable my ballet flats are. They’re nearly always my first choice for an outfit currently, especially if I’m going to be in the city doing a lot of walking. When the weather is nice, I try to skip cabs/the subway as much as possible, opting instead to pound the pavement.

Do the flats fit TTS? I’ve been eyeing them for a while after first seeing them appear on your blog. They look like the perfect pair!

Their size chart is SUPER accurate and it’s different for each type of flat, so I’d use the chart!

Are these flats able to last you all day? And no blisters? I just went to Europe wearing sneakers all day and I really wish I had a cuter alternative with dresses!
