Flirty and Thriving

I was kind of thinking that my pink phase was just that: a phase. With every passing season though, it seems to be here to stay! When I got a peek at the lookbook for Gal Meet Glam’s latest collection, I was immediately drawn to this darling dress.

Carly Heitlinger

I used to shy away from the palette thinking it was too similar to my fair skin. Maybe it’s just feeling more comfortable with how I am or maybe, well I don’t know what, but I’m not so afraid of wearing the color anymore.

Dragon Diffusion Bag

The dress has smocking on the waist, neckline, and wrists creating a whimsical and flowy silhouette that hugs at all the right places. It’s simply pretty. I wore this last week in the city for an afternoon tea and felt extra feminine and a touch flirty.

Mary Jane Patent Leather Flats

I bought these flats from J. Crew Factory a few weeks ago. I absolutely love the style. They are relatively comfortable, though I wanted to highlight that they definitely took a little breaking in. I wore them for about two hours and everything felt fine and then got a couple of blisters on my heel. I think over time they should loosen up a little bit and in the meantime, a clear bandaid helps ease in the breaking in period.

I also want to note that they’re definitely a knock off of the Tabitha Simmons flats and I like the style so much that I’m tempted to splurge on the tan color to wear throughout the fall.

I am obsessed with the GMG fall collection, and I keep coming back to this gorgeous dress! Everything about it is perfect for the season now! I have also been eyeing some GMG sweater dresses! Julia did an amazing job with this collection 🙂 Happy Sunday, Carly!

The dress is definitely very pretty and so fitting for high tea! I’ve had the same experience with pink- I stayed away from it for it’s ultra-feminine reputation, but the past couple years I’ve found it to be pretty versatile. Maybe it’s the millennial pink trend and the various shades that are now available?

Wow! You are looking so beautiful in this dress. I love your fashion style and I just fall in love with these simple earrings. Jewelry is a special ornament in any festival for the woman. Women love to wear Jewelry for ages and I’m one of them. :). I would love to wear such outfits with my piercing jewelry. With the changing trends, everyone is now highly inclined towards the Vertical Labret Piercing as well. Thank you so much for the lovely post.
