Now that we have “sprung forward” and hopefully had a few days to adjust to the time change, I think it’s only time for one thing…
A new watch.
(At least that’s how I justified it.)
I just got one of the new Kate Spade watches!!! I’ve seen the ads in just about all of my favorite magazines and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one. [Side Note: I’m realizing there are many puns with time/watches.]
I went to Nordstrom before my trip to Mexico, but they said to come back in a week. A week later, while Soccer Mom and I were buying mascara, we couldn’t remember what we had to come back for… and then we remembered! The watches!!! I stood at the jewelry counter practically drooling over all the styles. I was debating between the bangle style and a hot pink tank, but ended up going with the bangle.
Obsessed.
How cute is the watch? I love that it looks like a bangle and feels great on my wrist. Unlike regular bangles, it has a clasp and is not perfectly round (which is great for small wrists). I chose the cream one with gold polka dots so it fits right in with all my favorite stacks. On the inside, in complete Kate Spade fashion, it says “Make a Day of It.”

I have been needing a watch, but it seems really hard to find a feminine one. These are all pretty and slim, which is exactly what I look for in a watch.
