Loafers For Everyone!

While I love a good ballet flat, I think I’m going to be turning more and more to the trusty, classic loafer. I basically lived in my pair last year. I’d definitely like to add a few more styles to the shoe collection as fall approaches. Loafers are great transitional shoes. Wear with bare legs during early fall and opt for tights when things start cooling off. (I love how they look with cropped jeans and corduroys too!)
I pulled loafers for different styles and prices. I love how loafers this year really capture tons of looks. They’re not just for the Nancy Drews of the world anymore!!!
Loafers for the…
Wild One | Sam Edelman, $150
I have yet to find a pair of Sam Edelman shoes that are not comfortable. I bought a pair of leopard loafers last year and wished I had waited for these! I tried them on in Nordstrom and found them to be extraordinarily comfortable. They hit at the perfect spot on the top of your foot and provide just enough cushioning on the soles.
Glamorous | Nine West, $79
I’ve always wanted a pair of Stubbs and Wooton slippers… but, of course, I do not have the budget for them. These Nine West loafers are a great alternative. I love the crest!!! (Gap also has embroidered loafers, but I’m not sure how long they’d hold up.)
True Prep | Tommy Hilfiger, $69
Tassels and tartan… need I say more?
College Prepster | Eastland, $85
These are the loafers that I own and I am beyond obsessed with them. As I mentioned earlier, I wore them all the time last year. If you’re ordering these online, I suggest ordering through Zappos and getting your normal size and a half size smaller. I think they run a little bit big and I went down half a size. Zappos is great because they are delivered SO quick and return shipping is free.
Bold | Bass, $71
These are definitely the Wizard of Oz loafers. I love how the shoe is a classic loafer cut in a fun bright red. I think they’d look great with dark cropped jeans and a white button down. You can definitely make an outfit pop with these cuties!
Budget | Target, $25
You can’t beat this price! The shoe comes in navy, tan, and wine (a burgundy).
Trendy Girl | DV by Dolce Vita, $89
These suede shoes are… cool. Love them. The bright orange is definitely different and eye-catching. They’re a new twist on a cute classic. If you like the style, but you’re not so sure about orange they also come in a pretty tan. (If you go to a school with orange, like Auburn or Florida… how cute would these be for school spirit???)
What style of loafer fits your personality?
xoxo
PS This is one of my favorite photographs of me in loafers shot by Justin Bridges.

I love loafers! I think the brown ones that you have are the cutest and the most practical… but I love all of them! The crests are super cute.

I have some basic brown loafers that I'm finally going to wear for the first time this year. Love some of these that you pictured, but I think I love the simpler ones the best 🙂 Nice post!

I love this post. I just bought my first pair yesterday, the lepord ones from Target, and just had to wear them today to work! They are wonderful. I already am looking for my next pair or two and this is a great guide. Also I just found the Jack Rogers ones, I cant wait to get my hands on a pair!

I have a pair of old loafers that my Mom has had since the 80s. I love them and I think they're so cute! I probably wasn't too fashionable when I wore them OUT in middle school.

You had great picks!
