Remember back in February when my laptop was on the fritz? Well, it bit the dust. It technically still works but it was not working for me anymore. The battery no longer held a charge and I watched that rainbow spinning wheel of doom one too many times. I was really hoping my little laptop could hang in there until the four year mark, but, alas, it was time to upgrade.
I got the new version of the same laptop, 13 inch Macbook Pro, maxed out on ram. It was a big week for purchases at the Apple store for me because I surprised my mom with a Macbook Air for Mother’s Day slash her birthday.
Even if a new laptop isn’t on your to-do list, maybe it’s time to upgrade your laptop sleeve. Guys. I had the same pink laptop sleeve that I got back in 2008, a week after my high school graduation. I guess because I’ve had it for so long I didn’t really notice how gross it got. It wasn’t so much light pink anymore as it was a dusty grey. Yuck! Barrington Gifts gave me this leather laptop sleeve while I was in Dallas. Not only is it cleaner and sleeker than my pink one, it’s so much more grown up looking. About time!

I love the Barrington and the Kate Spade ones! I'm about to get a new laptop for college, so I'll definitely need an adorable laptop sleeve to match. I'm stuck between a macbook and a PC right now though! It seems like macs are the crowd favorite, but I just can't decide.

I'm at the same point with my laptop. It's 5 and a half years old and even though it works, I'm so frustrated with the spinning wheel of death and the lack of battery charge. So I'm getting a new one, and might treat myself to a new case too. Anything by Kate Spade wins in my book. x
