Blueberry Picking

So last year we missed strawberry picking at Fishkill Farms by hours (literally hours) and ended up picking cherries instead. I missed the boat for strawberry picking this year… and cherry picking… but I was dying to get out to our favorite farm again this year for berry picking.
We went on Tuesday so we basically had the whole place to ourselves.
It was super hot so I kept things extra simple. I was so on the fence about this romper and while it’s definitely outside of my everyday comfort zone, it’s been one of my favorite purchases this summer. I love the sporty look when paired with sneakers!
Because it was going to be super humid, in addition to the heat, I knew my long hair was going to have to go up into a bun. I wrapped my gingham scarf around it for a chic and casual little updo. (The scarf is also 30% off right now so there’s really no excuse to not get it!)
The blueberries are so good. I was tempted to eat the whole carton on the way home.
After picking a bunch of blueberries, we got started on picking raspberries. They were a lot harder to pick (very delicate little berries!), but oh so worth it. Delicious isn’t a strong enough word here.
We will for sure be heading back there for peaches (!!!) and then back again for apples this fall.

Love the romper and the tote! Last year my swim team and I went to apple picking after our fall break training, but we ended up picking pumpkins instead! I also picked up a funnel cake -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's

Loving that tote! I wish I could do this during the week, it's awesome you and Garrett are able to, less crowds is amazing! Maybe I'll go blueberry picking since I also missing strawberries and cherries this summer!

I love that romper! I feel like I'm seeing chambray rompers everywhere, and I really want one. Also, I think I've been berry-picking at that same farm— the resulting blueberry corn muffins and pancakes were delicious!

Fun! I have a similar chambray romper from Gap that I absolutely LOVE! Though I make sure not to drink too much liquids as it is not the easiest thing to get in and out of!
