Cute Backpacks for School, Work, and Fun

I’ve been carrying my Longchamp backpack a lot lately. It’s just big enough for an iPad, a camera, and my phone. Just the essentials I need while I’m out and about. There’s something so convenient about having a backpack over a handbag; it makes life so much easier just to toss everything in and be hands-free. (Plus it’s easier on my back when it gets a little heavier!)

I rounded up a few great looking backpacks. Some would work for school (like the Kate Spade bow one, which also comes in a gorgeous hot pink) and others are perfect for travel (like the satchel backpack) and others are a great option for work (like this leather backpack that fits a laptop).

None of these backpacks would look like you’re off to kindergarden– they’re chic!

Thanks so much for this! I have been in the market for a grown-up backpack since your Ireland posts made me think of it! These are all darling.

I recently bought the Vera Bradley Campus Tech Backpack in black for work and I’m obsessed. I even just convinced a friend to buy it as well. It is beyond practical for toting everything I need for work including my packed lunch and workout gear, but it is also really cute. I definitely recommend checking it out if anyone is in the market.

I love my longchamp le pliage in pinky. I use it for my dog walk daily so I can take cool water for my pug and a bowl whilst out. I also have the le pliage cuir all leather backpack in blush pink for my personal use and absolutely love it. I cannot recommend it enough. It looks so cute and dainty but fits way more than a crossbody and is buttery soft leather and feminine. I have a bad back and cross body bags hurt with the pendulum affect and weight on one shoulder plus I find the squashed boob look not very flattering. I used totes but can’t shoulder carry so was always one handed and hated it. The backpack has changed my life for the better. They’re not as easy to access as a tote but being hands free and my posture being pulled more upright and back ( I hunch forward ) outways the fact I can’t do everything at 100 mph 🙂 I thoroughly recommend longchamp nylon and cuir line. Amazing quality for the price ( I own 11 of their bags ) both nylon and leather.
