Our Holiday Cards with Minted

Can you believe we’re in the middle of November already? The holidays are fast approaching and, with that, my favorite tradition: holiday cards. My mom takes them (way too) seriously, and I have somehow inherited the same obsession. Even with social media readily available, I love flipping through the cards my family receives every year.

When we took a family photo with the pups this fall, I knew we had a winning holiday card photo on our hands. I’m excited to be partnering with Minted on this post to show you how cute our cards turned out!

Minted Personalized Holiday Cards

Using Minted makes it so easy to get the best holiday card possible. They have so many ridiculously cute designs available, no matter what you’re looking for. Sweet designs for families. Funny ones for dogs. Christmas cards. And if you’re running behind this year, New Year’s cards.

To find the perfect card quickly, you can upload your photo and use the “Find It Fast” feature. It’s so helpful because you can see right away what card is going to look the best. It’s actually how I found the card we selected.

Personalized Holiday Cards

Gar and I sent out cards last year for the first time, and the most tedious part was collecting addresses. I put together a Google form and sent it to friends and family via social media to collect addresses, and then I uploaded the spreadsheet into Minted’s Address Assistant! (You can also use a special link they create for you to send out and collect.) With the Address Assistant, you can have the addresses automatically printed on the envelopes (game changer), and they’re there year after year.

I went through this year and updated a couple of addresses of friends who had moved, but other than that it was a breeze.

As I played around with designs, I’d save different versions in my account and then come back to tweak and add personalization. Even when you choose your card, there are so many different ways to make it “yours.”

After picking out the cards, I got matching envelopes with coordinating liners, and even custom stamps with the same theme. I’ve never been more excited to send cards out!!!

Beautiful card! Even though we live in such a digital world, I love how Christmas cards are still a thing. I hope they continue to stay a thing for a LONG time! Love seeing photos of cousins / family friends children grow each year.

I just ordered our cards through mint as well! The process was so, so easy. I’m looking forward to getting them.

I absolutely love prepping and sending out Christmas cards too! I ordered mine from Paper Source in September, and have (slowly) been addressing them by hand with some new calligraphy skills! Where is your pen from? It’s so cute!

Hmm… now if only you could teach me how to get my boyfriend to do cutesy things like take adorable pictures in an apple orchard, I’d be all set! 😉

The cards are beautiful, Carly! I’m embarrassed to say that I don’t send holiday cards anymore. When email started to take over regular mail my friends stopped sending cards and so did I. It’s a shame because it’s a tradition I love. I keep every single card I’ve received in a box and I like to take them out and re-read them from time to time.

Lovely card. I’ve been doing a photo card for 18 years – since my oldest had his first Christmas. We do a 2 page spread in a photo album every year (small write up of what we did over Christmas Eve and day, our card and then a page of photos from the holiday). Its so nice to look back over the years, see who we spent Christmas with and how much fun we had. Its a nice thing to have out on our coffee table 🙂

I ordered our family Christmas Cards from Minted to. They were having a sale on their foil cards. My sister doesn’t live in the same state as us anymore, so I had her take a photo outside and then photoshopped her into our family picture! I cannot wait to see peoples reactions. It looks semi-real but if you have any idea of what photoshop is, you could easily tell she wasn’t exactly there when the photo was taken.

Your cards turned out so beautifully! I used Shutterfly for our holiday cards this year, but for our wedding invitations we used Minted and had the best experience. I especially love that they address them for you-everyone loved how special it looked in the gorgeous font we chose!

Hi Carly,

I recently purchased this exact sweater. I love the look of it, but I am hesitant to take the tags off because of the reviews that suggest it pills like crazy,

Have you had any such problems??

Thanks for the help!!
