While I love sunny days, I can’t resist a foggy one on Nantucket. It was pretty rainy all day, so we loaded up into our rented Mini Cooper and went on a driving tour of the island. We went from one end to the other and turned down roads as we wished.
As luck would have it, the rain turned to a drizzle as we neared ‘Sconset, so we hopped out to take some photos by Sankaty Light. I think it’s my favorite lighthouse– it’s definitely the most picturesque!
It doesn’t matter where I travel, I always pack along a little anorak or rain jacket for the trip just in case. As a kid, I always wanted a yellow rain jacket because of Molly (the American Girl Doll). My sister had her and one year got the outfit with the yellow rain jacket and galoshes. Even though I loved my Samantha doll, I was always jealous of that yellow rain slicker!
When Barbour released this yellow rain coat, it felt like a must have. (It’s since sold out, but I have seen it in brick and mortar stores before, so it’s worth keeping your eyes peeled. Here it is in red, and it’s on major sale!) My eight-year-old self would be thrilled to see me now. It’s a little aggressive but still feels like a classic wardrobe staple.
(I rounded up some cute yellow options at the end of the post!)
This madras tank top is a great purchase for summer. It’s on sale right now and the price is too good to resist. I’d say it fits true to size for tank tops, I got the size 0.
