Sleeveless in Spring

We’re technically not quite ready for sleeveless dresses in Hoboken, but considering the first day of spring has come and gone, I’m at least looking forward to warmer days ahead. And with that, spring dresses and sandals! I’ve partnered with Macy’s to share one dress I’m looking forward to wearing and I hope you guys love it as much as I do.

Spring Dress for Work

I loved browsing through Macy’s spring dress selection. So many great styles for all kinds of occasions. Here are a few that stood out to me:

Blue & White Striped Wrap Dress // Floral Print Bell Sleeve Dress // Tie Front Jumpsuit (so fun!!!) // Lace Sleeveless Dress (could be perfect for graduations!)

While I was browsing, I found this super adorable navy dress (it comes in white as well). I’m sure it will come as no surprise that I fell for a navy dress. The detailing on it is gorgeous with horizontal paneling and gold buttons down the side. I’m also a sucker for a good fit and flare.

What to wear to work

It’s also a great choice if you work in an office– the length is conservative, but the slightly ruffled hemline keeps it young.

To make this outfit perfect for work in the spring, I kept my leathers light. If you remember, I’ve been dealing with a slight foot issue and can’t wear heels much anymore. Wedges are okay and low heels are fine, but my favorite pumps aren’t options for me right now.

I ordered these low heel sandals and I am obsessed. I think I’ll be wearing them frequently throughout the spring and summer, both with dresses and casually with white and/or cropped jeans.

DKNY Medium Leather Satchel

I picked out this little bag. I have trusty black handbags (this is hands down my #1 go-to) and a couple of other options that I wear quite a bit, but I didn’t have a professional, well-structured handbag. I am so impressed with the quality of this one! It is perfect.

Oh, also while I was putting together this post I found gorgeous watch for a great price. If you love the style of the tank watch, but not the price tag, you should definitely check it out!

This dress is so elegant (the neckline) and youthful (the ruffled hemline)! The gold buttons are such a nice touch. Ugh I can’t wait until the weather warms up and I can start wearing more dresses! Even though I had a snow day yesterday (third snow storm this month…), I just bought a cute lil mustard maxi dress this morning… I think that’s evidence enough for where my mindset is at! ;P -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

Carly I love all of your budget and reasonably priced finds- in my opinion it makes you a relatable blogger. But I would also love to know what you splurge on – is your watch the classic tank ? What did you get in Hermes and why? I am at a similar life stage and looking to make lasting classic purchases that will last for years along with some of my more reasonably priced items, would be so interested to know how you weigh up purchases and what you think is worth it!

The train station in Hoboken… it was WAY too cold to be outside taking outfit photos and it ended up being the perfect backdrop!

Such a gorgeous outfit! I can’t wait until it’s warm enough to break out the sleeveless work dresses again.

Carly, you somehow make the Hoboken train station look SO elegant and pretty. Amazing photography, I’ve been to that station a hundred times living here, but WOW it never looked so great!!! Keep up the good work – love to see your outfits posts now in Hoboken!
