Nothing makes me happier closet-wise than finding an article of clothing that feels very “me,” but especially when it’s something that I can wear over and over again. This top is definitely one of those pieces. The last time I featured it on the blog, it sold out almost immediately so I’m thrilled to report that it is BACK IN STOCK. Yesssssss!
Knowing it was back in stock, I wanted to reshare it with a new outfit post because I had received so many questions about it before!
I love everything about it. Obviously, it’s navy and white. But it also has a super fun fit and flare nature. It’s best paired with skinny or straight jeans because it flares out a little bit. I usually avoid tops that are too loose, but this one is actually flattering (even if you have a larger chest), it still gives you a shape.
I do recommend sizing up on it though, especially if you have broader shoulders.
I wore these jeans when I did an Instagram Story for HomeGoods a couple of weeks ago. I received so many inquiries about where they’re from. Shocker, they’re from J. Crew. I was hesitant about the wash, but I honestly love it! I need to get them hemmed before being able to wear them with flats (I’m just under 5’6″ FYI), so, for now, I’ve been wearing them with my fave summer heels.
One bit of warning about the jeans. They have ZERO stretch. Ze-ro. It felt so different than my usual jeans but I’m into the look! I’d say the cut is true to size for J. Crew sizing though so you’re fine buying your regular size.
A teeny tiny market tote. Julia and I picked these up at a local gift shop by her house before her sister’s bridal shower. We weren’t exactly looking for them, but when we spotted them we knew they’d be perfect for gift bags. Even though it’s so small, it actually does a pretty good job as a handbag. I couldn’t find the exact one, but this one appears to be similar!!
People are also still asking me about these sandals. They fit true to size. No break-in period. Highly recommend.
