I have had these gingham pants tucked in my closet for a couple of years now. I love pulling them out to wear because they kind of remind me of Audrey Hepburn a bit. They are still available at J. Crew, which signals that they are a classic.
Even though I loved them when I bought them, I struggled to figure out exactly how to style them. The gingham print is pretty bold for a pant so I try to keep the rest of my outfit relatively simple. Wear it with a cute little white top for a flirty night out. You can’t go wrong with a classic cable knit sweater. Or a fun bow top for an everyday look.
I wore my pants last month on Nantucket with my trusty Tippi Sweater and alternated between ballet flats and sneaks all day.
