This week was a blur. Nothing really too exciting, which is fine by me! After a crazy fourth quarter last year, I’m trying my best to be okay with a slow January. It’s always slow, but sometimes mentally I feel like I have to be doing ~all the things~ when in reality it’s the best time to just slow down.
Earlier this week I was craving tacos. I tried to do a healthier version at home by just doing a salad with the taco ingredients (minus cheese + tortilla). Couldn’t have been easier and it was delicious! No real reason that I’m sharing it here 😂, I just didn’t take too many iPhone pics this week!!
Here’s what was on my radar this week:
I am totally obsessed with James Charles’ makeup tutorials on Youtube. He just did a “Never Enough” cover with Cimorelli (six very talented sisters!) and it’s incredible. “Never Enough” is one of my favorite songs from The Greatest Showman– and it’s perfectly suited for James’ talent. I think I even like it more than the original, it’s that good.
If you caught my Instagram post last week, then you know I love a good pen! Someone sent me this article with New York Magazine’s top 100 list of pens. I was pretty happy to see that my favorite (Pilot Precise V5) made the top 20 😉
THREE // Ceramic Travel Mug
This was a gratuitous purchase of mine this weekend– but I don’t regret it! I saw these little mugs in Anthropologie and thought they’d be perfect for my morning coffee. The pink color sold me, but I love that it’s ceramic wrapped in silicone for a comfortable grip. The same brand also has portable salad bowls, which are a GREAT alternative to plastic to-go containers at your favorite lunch spots.
FOUR // Gorgeous Gown
If anyone has a black tie event coming up, you must consider this dress! It showed up as a recommended product while I was browsing online. While I have nowhere to wear it, I fell in love with the silhouette.
FIVE // Cierra’s Fitness Journey
Remember Cierra? She shared her fitness journey and I was so inspired by it– I have a feeling you guys will be too. Often we all have certain hurdles we have to overcome (mental, physical, or both) when it comes to working out and prioritizing our health. ☀️
