Style for In Between Days

We’re (!!!) finally coming up on those hard to dress for (but oh so lovely) “in between days.” Where it’s springy but still nippy out. Winter clothes feel too wintery and spring clothes don’t seem right either.

It’s a little bit of a challenge, but I also kind of love it because it’s forcing me to rethink how I wear certain pieces in my closet.

I also love that this outfit is casual without being too casual. And can be layered accordingly depending on how the weather shifts throughout the day. (Which happens frequently on these “in-between” days.) Ditch the scarf if it warms up. Use the scarf as a shawl if you’re inside a chilly office or restaurant. Lose the coat and the scarf if the sun comes out.

These flats are the latest addition to my Margaux shoe fleet. They’re a little stiffer than the ballet flats so they did take one full day of wearing for the leather to warm up to my feet. But with that comes a more sophisticated and structured look.

Also, my jeans are my favorite from last spring. Just checked and they’re sold out, but I found a super similar (they look nearly identical!) pair somewhere else.
