Floral Peplum

I had this top in my shopping cart on and off for three weeks. I kept changing my mind and wasn’t sure if it would fit and/or look cute. I don’t do a lot of tops like this one! I ended up trying it in the store and loved it. I even packed it for Paris!

J. Crew Smocked ruffle top in Liberty® Ros floral

The top is smocked all the way around so it’s super flattering and conforms right to your body. I don’t even wear a bra with it 👌🏻 The peplum isn’t totally cropped but it still hits at a flirty length.

Margaux City Sandals

Okay and I have to give a major shoutout to these shoes. THESE. SHOES. You already know that I’m a major Margaux fangirl, but these shoes might just be their best yet. I went with the rose which kind of serves as a nude for my skin tone. They are insanely comfortable. Straight out of the box. I kind of want to get them in red as well.

I thought about getting this top, but was worried the straps would be too long because I’m petite. How did you find the fit of the straps to be?

I don’t think they’re that long! I’m not sure how it would fit on a petite frame though.

I have also had this shirt in my cart for a bit now, and tried it on in store. It is so pretty, and I love the colors and print, but it was too short for my tall frame! I was sad! But I agree that this top needs to be tried on if you are unsure!

What size did you get?? They’re not showing a box for XS online, which is my usual size in J Crew.

Ugh, Carly! I clicked on this from your On My Radar post on 4/3 and instantly had FOMO for a sunny spring day in cute clothes with makeup on. Bookmarking this for when we have those days yet again. For now, I am in my oooooooold lulu leggings and a patagonia that has seen better days.
