October @ A Glance

Whew! We’re flying into the fourth quarter. I am shocked at how fast this year has gone by and I feel like the holidays are going to be here before we know it. I’m trying really hard to stay in the present moment, but since this is notoriously the craziest quarter for me, I’m already thinking so far ahead work-wise that I feel like it’s basically 2020 😂

Some fun things coming up on the docket for this month– lots to look forward to.

October Calendar

I’m kind of thrilled to embrace all the fun activities the suburbs has to offer. I see lots of cozy weekends and pumpkin-flavored treats in my future. We’re flying across the country for a wedding this upcoming weekend but I think that should be my only trip this month. I’m so looking forward to just being home. I’m especially excited for a cooking class and even more apple picking. Oh, and I will be for sure stocking up on the best Halloween candy for our neighborhood’s trick or treating.

PERSONAL GOAL: Get my office fully functioning!!! I’ve been working with a makeshift office right now. Shoving things in closets and storing files in a rolling suitcase. It’s bad. I am committing myself to get that room UP AND RUNNING. Honestly– it’s close. I just need to sit down a few times between now and the end of the month and go into organizing overdrive to get it done!

THIS MONTH: I’m going to encourage everybody to pick one habit to try to set or break this month! I’ve been on a major habit kick this year and have found that my life is so much easier and more fulfilled with better good habits and ditching the bad ones. (The great part about this is that you usually get a 2-for-1– replace a bad habit and create a healthy one!)

I hope you have an amazing time in San Diego! I would 100% recommend a trip to Old Town if you have some time. There’s a haunted house museum and The Congress Cafe on Mason Street has the BEST mochas/breakfast!

How excited are you for trick-or-treaters this year? As a fellow new homeowner this may be one of the things I’ve been MOST excited about since moving in recently!

I love that you included National Pasta Day. A girl after my own heart. Haha! I totally agree and think this year has FLOWN by. I’m so not ready to start Christmas shopping.

Hi, I was wondering if you can tell us what app or program you used to create the calendar?
