Preppy Ornaments

I’ve been stumbling on the absolute cutest ornaments on the internet. There are so many amazing ones– but these preppy ones have given me all the heart eyes! Do you guys do classic trees, themed trees, or all-the-ornaments kinds of trees? I think for our living room, I’m going to go extra classic. But seeing these ornaments has me thinking that I need a themed tree somewhere too.

Last year I started collecting Scottish plaid ornaments, then adding in red and green. Also got red Pom Pom garland that is so pretty on the green tree. Love your roundup and can’t wait to see what your tree looks like this year.

These are adorable! Our main tree is always adorned with a collection of ornaments gathered over the years and tends to have a traditional look. One tree isn’t enough, though, so I also decorate a ‘kitchen tree’ using a rosemary ‘tree’ from Whole Foods. I hang food and beverage themed ornaments on that. I also try to have a small tree of some sort in the master bedroom and the preppy ornaments would be fun there. Merry, merry!

We started doing 2 trees a few years ago. Our main tree has ornaments we’ve collected over the years and red plaid bows to tie it together. We have a pencil tree in our dining room that is decorated with nutcracker ornaments. I love the idea of doing 2 trees. The ornaments you highlighted here are super cute! I’m excited to see how you will decorate.

I put all of my ornaments on one tree and there definitely isn’t a theme but I would love to do a themed tree or trees someday. I think they can look so cool.

LOVE these ornaments, especially the ginger jars! I would even consider finding them an all year spot. But they would make for a cute tree in your dining room! I had a great aunt who would tastefully wrap garland around her dining room chandelier. I used the same idea and hung crystal stars with silver garland. Makes for a festive decoration. Looking forward to your holiday decorations this year! 🎄🌟

Those are adorable! I do a traditional tree. But the last few years I changed it up a bit. Our current home is a bit cramped, and the usual tree felt chaotic to me. I simplified big time. Twinkly white lights, firefly lights with beaded tassels, white lights with gold wire orbs, vintage gold glittered spiderwebs with chenille spider ornaments inherited from my grandmother, and silver tinsel. Gold lit star on top. That’s it. All green, white, silver, gold and sparkle. It’s so peaceful!
