I’ve been a pretty big fan of Dudley Stephens since their launch. I swear their fleeces have helped me survive the winter months without totally pulling out my hair. They’re REALLY comfy cozy. You only have to wear one once to understand the hype. I promise– they’re that good.
Personally, I can’t really pull them off with anything other than pants, jeans, or leggings. With a larger chest they don’t work very well tucked into anything… so I stick to more casual outfits. Most of the time I’m wearing them for casual days at home or with leggings to go to and from the gym.
How amazing is the green boatneck fleece?! I am really committed to this green and black theme for my sartorial life right now ha.
To answer some of the FAQ I get about the fleeces:
– Are they worth it? This is subjective but I’d say yes (personally). They’re really, really soft and I like how they look with jeans. Because I work from home I find that I have even more reasons to wear them frequently. Dudley Stephens is also a small, women-owned company and I never mind spending a little more to support companies like that. Especially one that also supports sustainability by repurposing recycled water bottles!!
– How is the fit? I’d say they fit true to size… but if you’re in between sizes or unsure, size up. I wear an XS.
– How do you wash them? Because they’re more casual clothes, I really hate owning anything that requires babying. (I don’t have the patience ha!) I wash and dry regularly. The fleece feeling changes after drying, but I think it’s for the better. They just start to feel more loved the more wash cycles they go through!!
