Glen Plaid & Cashmere

Ever since I put up my last post with Everlane, I have been loving all the messages you guys DM me about your new Everlane purchases or what pieces are your go-tos. As I mentioned before, I am thrilled to finally be clued into this amazing retailer. Even pulling products for this sponsored post was so hard because I couldn’t narrow it down. Everything looked amazing. I was thinking specifically how I wish it had been around when I graduated college because it would have been a great resource for building out a more grown-up wardrobe.

Everlane Glen Plaid

I LOVE a good blazer. This one perfectly nails the oversized fit without looking sloppy. The Glen Plaid is also gorgeous for winter. I tried it on over a cute black dress and loved it just as much as I did with this outfit. And then I tried it with a white blouse and black pants and, yep, also great. Because of the length (it covers your butt!), it’s a great thing to throw on with slimmer Ponte pants or even leggings.

I loved how it looked over this gorgeous (and affordable!) cashmere sweater. Because the brand is dedicated to working only with ethical factories and is all about radical transparency, consumers benefit from lower, totally fair prices. They even go so far as to share the breakdown of prices and compare it to the markup of other traditional retailers. That’s a win for you and your wallet!!

In addition to these great wardrobe staples, Everlane also nails the “cozy” factor. I’ve been lusting over the cashmere joggers and now that I know about their ReNew & Re:Down collections, I’ve been eyeing the fleece sweatpants. As a refresher, the ReNew & Re:Down collections are entirely made of recycled plastic bottles 🙌🏻  I am obsessed with the liner that I wore in the last post– it’s a great easy layer that can be worn on its own or under another coat for added warmth.

The Day Boot has a cult-like following and I know why now! They’re so comfortable and so chic. I obviously don’t work in a traditional office but I’d say these would be a great option for cold-weather climates when you need to wear a boot for warmth but also need to look professional. They look great when worn with tights and a dress too because they don’t come up too high on your ankle/leg.

And THIS BOSS BAG. All the heart eyes from me. This marries the idea of a handbag and a tote. It fits a laptop and zips at the top and slings just right over the shoulder. Honestly, this would be a good handbag option for traveling too because of how much it fits and how comfortable it is to carry. It’s a 10/10 for me.
