A Go-To Fall Combo

Today I’m sharing an outfit that I have worn a few times already “in real life.” I have largely been a fan of green for a while as I think it’s one of the colors that works well with my skin tone. But in the past year or so, my love for the color has only grown. Especially in the fall. I accessorized the outfit with one of my kate spade new york handbags, which you may remember from a sponsored post from a couple of months ago. This post is in partnership with kate spade again, to show you how easy it is to give your “make it mine” handbags a new look.

Carly the Prepster

If you saw the first post where I styled the bag three different ways, you’ll see that I have a new flap! It’s perfect for fall with the gold detailing. And while it’s not a drastic difference from the plain black flap, the studs add just enough to give the bag a whole a new look. I love how the gold ties in the fall hues of the rest of the outfit.

Even though I’m quite the fan of a simple black bag, in this case, I prefer it with the extra detailing!

Kate Spade Make it Mine

I have the convertible byrdie bag, but you can use the removable flaps on other styles of bags too… like the backpack (perfect for traveling) or a crossbody (for a date night). The make it mine bags with the convertible flaps is such a smart system if you’re like me and like to change the look of your purse often. I like that you can mix and match and swap between handbags and different flaps for new looks depending on your mood, outfit, or occasion.

Leopard Flats

Shop more flaps for your bag with the widget below. I’m eyeing the velvet/bow and the houndstooth.

versus just being an outfit photo for the blog. It’s something that I keep wearing on repeat off the blog, in real life.

What is the point of posting outfits “just for the blog?” If you won’t even wear them in real life, why would anyone else? Would love to see more of your actual style.

I only wear outfits on the blog that I wear in life, I was just saying that I took the photos AND wore it three times “in real life”
