Black and White at Work

This outfit *almost* makes me wish I worked in a traditional office. Don’t get me wrong, I freaking love working from home– can’t beat my “commute” and being able to wear whatever I want is pretty great. But sometimes it can get old just sitting at my desk in workout clothes or jeans and a sweater.

I have been having more meetings and events lately where dressing up professionally is called for. I tucked this blouse away during the winter, but I’m excited to pull it back out for the warmer months. Here’s how I wore it last September, more casually, with jeans. I love how the blouse works just as well with jeans as it does with slacks.

I talked about how much I loved these pants in this post and my sentiments haven’t changed a bit. If you’re able to splurge for a great pair of slacks, these are the best.

J. Crew Collection Bow Back Blouse

I mean, this bow is literally everything.

That blouse is so elegant and unique! I’ve been freelancing, so I don’t have a uniform to conform too either, but that usually results in me dressing very, errr, “comfortably” (let’s say that instead of “sloppily” haha). I’m thinking of forcing myself to go to a cafe once a week and dressing nicely 😛 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

Carly, I have been loving how you are restyling pieces you already have in your closet!! Its awesome that shows how versatile one piece of clothing can be, like this blouse (and my favorite the Celeste dress!)!! Looks great dressed up, and more casual. Hope you are having an amazing start to your week!!
