Classic Shirtdress

I would consider myself a pretty tough judge when it comes to shirtdresses. I have tried on many and own quite a lot. They’re some of my favorite things to wear and I have yet to get sick of them. This one is unlike any I own in that it has a very full and long skirt. It has a classic, ladylike chicness. I honestly wish I could wear something like this every day.

I love when dresses come with belts so you can tie it as tight or loose as you need for a great fit. They show the belt in a big bow, but I think it looks much sleeker just tied in a knot. You can also swap out the sash for one of your own belts. I think a thick brown leather belt would look gorgeous here.

I’m just under 5’6″ and I’d say that I probably couldn’t go any longer with the dress before I was absolutely swimming in it. Luckily though, it comes in petite sizes too!

Ever since I got this little bag, I’ve been carrying it as often as I can. I wear a lot of navy and white, so it’s a frequent pick for me.

I had planned on wearing a wedge or a small heel with the dress… but honestly? There’s nothing more comfortable than my ballet flats for walking around in the city.
