Heelarious… Seriously Hilarious!

A few days ago, my family went out to dinner.  There was the cutest little baby sitting in a high chair right by our booth.  We thought she was just cute as a button.  My dad thought she had dropped a toy, so he picked it up and handed it to her mom.  Well, it wasn’t a toy.  It was a baby booty in the shape of a high heel!!!  A HIGH HEEL!
We literally couldn’t stop laughing.  The shoe was super soft and squishy (don’t you wish all heels were like that?).  If I had a girl, I would definitely be ordering these!!!  The company that makes them is called Heelarious.  They carry cute styles (including cowboy boots with spurs), but some styles are retiring, so get them while you can!

I got my first pair of “heels” for my fifth grade graduation.  They weren’t exactly real heels, but I thought I was so grown up.  I had small feet, so while some of my friends could fit into adult shoes, I was still getting shoes from Stride Rite.  Lucky me.  The shoes were basically mary-janes with a higher heel than normal.  They hurt my feet sooooo badly, but I wanted that extra inch of height.  Half way through the school day, I had my mom bring another pair of shoes because my feet were hurting!
What were your first pair of high heels like?

My first heels were in high school, too high for me and my daddy laughed at me trying, yes, trying to walk. However with practice I finally achieved an acceptable walk and realized at that point…I LOVE highheels!!!
