J. Crew Eyelet Dress

I didn’t take any outfit photos while I was in Charleston and I’m planning on doing a recap of the trip next week on here. But, I did want to share this incredible dress from J. Crew. I had to stop by the store to return something and saw these new arrival eyelet dresses.

The length is perfect. I’m normally not drawn to dresses below the knee because I think they make my legs look shorter, but the waistline helps elongate my body.

Did I mention that there are POCKETS?

AND DID I MENTION THAT IT’S ONLY $98!?!? (And 25% off this weekend– what???)

I’ve been trying to incorporate a little bit more color into my wardrobe, so I’m not just wearing my usual navy and gray (clearly a Georgetown girl). The green is gorgeous in person. I received so many compliments on it while walking around Charleston. All of my Uber drivers especially loved it because I was easy to spot! I’d recommend the green and also the navy. But just a head’s up: I wouldn’t recommend the white. The dress has a built-in slip, and while you can’t see it at all on the green or navy, the neckline of the slip in the white dress looks super strange. (It looks like you’re wearing a scoop neck cami!)
