Lilly for Target Weekender Giveaway

So I’ve been going through my closets trying to do one last sweep before I have to start to pack for our move. Let’s just say, I have accumulated a lot of things in the past three years and despite frequent closet clean outs, it’s still a bit out of control. Last weekend, I went through a bag that contained other bags (whoops… felt a bit like Mary Poppins pulling all kinds of totes out…) and realized that I had a beautiful Lilly for Target weekender bag.
It’s really so cute! I have the similar tote and it’s such a fun, bright oh-so-Lilly print. I’ve never used it (still has tags) and I want to make sure it goes to a great home!!!
All you have to do to enter to win is to leave a comment on this post with what your perfect weekend getaway destination would be! (Make sure that the account you’re signed in with is linked to your preferred email… or be sure to include an email address in the comment too so I can contact you if you win!)

UPDATE: Giveaway is over… The winner is, Mary O’Malley!

My perfect weekend getaway would be to Nantucket or Cape Cod. I've only ever been to Florida beaches, but there's something so charming and romantic about the Northeastern coastline that I would love to visit!

Oh my goodness I would love to win this! On "Pink Sunday" at Target, my local Target was so packed that I barely had time to hit the clothing, much less get to accessories or home goods, haha!! This cute bag was on my want list, but it was all sold out so quickly. 🙁

As far as a weekend getaway, I go to college in Charlotte, NC, and my 21st birthday falls this year on Labor Day Weekend! I'm currently trying to plan a beach trip for a couple girlfriends and I to go to either Myrtle Beach or Charleston, SC. I am so so excited for the trip (and this bag would be perfect for it!! Haha!).

Thanks for the fun giveaway!

My perfect getaway would be a visit home once the Fall semester starts. With seven classes, an on-campus job, an internship I love, and a position as an ambassador/tour guide for prospective students of my college, I won't be able to go home often (if at all). But that would be my ideal weekend getaway. 🙂

I would love to go to Bilbao, Spain. I spent a semester there. I would bring my three best friends with me, along with my long distance boyfriend so that he could experience my Spanish home! It would be a short trip, but a worthwhile one to be in one of my favorite spots in the world with my favorite people.

My perfect weekend getaway would be a weekend in Newport Beach, CA. I would love to rent a house on Balboa Island with my family with a dock going out into the bay where we could sleep in late, do lots of reading, and soak up the sun. I'd use my Lilly for Target weekender bag to pack all of my swimsuits and a cover-up or two, because when you're at the beach, who really needs anything else??

Hey Carly! My perfect weekend getaway would have to be spent in Oxford. Oxford, (not talking about the one in England here!) Mississippi is a lovely little city nestled right under the Tennessee border and located just only a couple hours outside my hometown of Jackson. Filled with rich historic culture and classic Southern charm, Oxford boasts everything from museums and galleries to scenic parks and top of the line restaurants/bakeries. Oh, and don't let me forget about all the wonderful little boutiques there as well – they even have a Lily store!

My perfect weekend getaway destination would be to go home to Charlotte, NC. I'm in Chapel Hill (go heels!) right now for summer classes, but I really miss my family and friends. But, since you never said this had to be realistic, what I would really like to do is visit the newly discovered planet, Kepler-452b, otherwise known as Earth's "cousin." I was doing some reading about it the other day and discoveries like this really make you wonder if there are forms of life outside of our planet. My perfect getaway weekend is happening in a few weeks. My boyfriend is treating me for graduation and starting my new job in NYC. I can't wait to take my first vacation post-grad. Time to relax and soak up the sun will be perfect after a few months in the hustle and bustle of the city.

The ideal getaway would be a quick trip to San Francisco, CA. With so much culture and so many one of a kind spots, it would be the perfect escape from the day to day for this East Coast girl.

I would LOVE to go back to Europe, however, I don't see a weekend being long enough (with traveling time & jet-lag!), so my perfect weekend getaway would have to be to Boston! It has to be my favorite city and I would love to explore it again for a weekend!

My perfect weekend away would be….driving up to Seattle along the California/Oregon coast with my best friends. I know we would listen to our favorite Spotify playlists, have friendly arguments over who is better — Beyonce or Rihanna (Beyonce, obviously!) — play Head's Up, constantly be pulling over to take the *perfect* Instagram shot, and enjoy the silence of each others company as we soak in the beauty of the great North Western outdoors. THAT, would be the perfect weekend getaway.
Thanks for letting us share Carly 🙂

My perfect getaway would be Door County, Wisconsin…

You're thinking Wisconsin… what…? Informally known as the Cape Cod of the Midwest, Door County sits on beautiful Lake Michigan where cute towns sit about 20 minutes apart from each other along the Great Lake. With a drive in theater from the 60's, amazing hiking, and cute boutiques & coffee shops- it's a hidden treasure. The best part? Less than 6 hours from Minneapolis, I get my fill of the East Coast without even having to leave my time zone.

My perfect weekend get-away would be to Mackinac Island in Michigan. It's just a short trip from my home outside of Chicago. Mackinac Island is a pedestrian only island so you have to take a ferry to get there! While you're there, its all bed and breakfasts and riding bikes and walking around small boutiques and restaurants…and the beach isn't too far away! It's the perfect weekend for a little romance or a fun little bachelorette party. It reminds me a lot of small towns in the Northeast like Cape Cod or Nantucket…just in the Midwest!

I would use this weekender tote to visit my fiancé in St. Louis. It's been rough this past year being apart – he's in grad school and I'm in Milwaukee. This bag would be the perfect accessory and designated "visit Cody" bag! [email protected]

My perfect weekend get away would be to go to Carlsbad, CA. Sit on the beach with a large diet coke and a good book my my hand. Eat Mexican food and burgers for every meal. And swim until my skin is a straight prune. Nothing sounds dreamier right now.

The keys or the coast of South Carolina! Traveled to both recently and I'm already dying to go back…so relaxing.

My ideal weekend getaway would be traveling to New York City. Though it may not be relaxing, it is the perfect place to getaway to. I love the hustle and bustle of the city and love that I find something new there each time I go. It really is my favorite place!

I would love to go to Nantucket. I haven't spent very much time on the Northeastern coast, but there's just a certain charm that I've recently become very interested in!

Absolutely would be New Orleans, LA – have been dying to get there — first stop would definitely be cafe du monde ('cause I'm sure it's not the same brewed at home!) [email protected]

My perfect weekend getaway would definitely be Marblehead, MA. It's an old sea side town which means lots of character and most importantly good fresh sea food! My favorite part would be the little shops, though. There aren't a whole lot of chain stores, so the chances of finding one of a kind gems are great. There are lots of old mansions with beautiful gardens and tons of narrow meandering streets to wander through. In the summer, the temperature is perfect for bruches out on the patio and in the fall it's like a painting come to life!

My perfect weekend getaway would be to the Oregon Coast, where I grew up. I'm still in the Pacific Northwest but find it hard to get back to my roots without a car or the sufficient time off. I'd love to see my grandparents and stay in a cute coastal beach house where my pup could frolic in the sand and I could catch up on some reading. My email is [email protected]

My perfect weekend getaway would have to be Portland, Oregon. There's just so many little shops to walk into and the bookstore that everyone talks about. Plus all the food trucks to try!

It's my last year living in Vermont, and being so close to Montreal! I"ve been trying to go up to the city as much as possible, Like the Jazz festival, The Women's World Cup, and the Osheaga music festival. My plan for the winter is to skate on top of Mount Royale and not turn into a human Popsicle!

A quick trip down to Savannah to see family and friends! I haven't been in so long and a weekend getaway would be the perfect amount of time for a visit! Not to mention, I've been seriously craving some pralines lately…

My perfect getaway would be to my parent's lake house in northern Michigan. You've never felt true happiness until you are in the woods, on a lake, with a bonfire and a nice hot s'more!
