Lobster Sweater

I’m not going to lie… I miss Florida winters. Aka, I miss not having a winter. It’s still fall here and I’m already freezing. Not okay. This weekend started off pretty wonderful actually. Dresses and skirts sans tights were totally good-to-go. And then the temperatures dropped. I’ve broken out all of my sweaters officially and started collecting a few new favorites for the year.
I tweeted about this lobster sweater from Vineyard Vines and the team surprised me with it during a photoshoot with Matchbook Magazine and Vineyard Vines. It’s even better in person. Can I wear it every day?!
I wore it on Monday because I was so cold and a fair isle sweater was all I wanted to wear. After playing with Teddy all weekend and not getting any kind of work done, I stormed through Monday morning full steam ahead. But I started to seriously “crash” mid-afternoon. The time change really got to me this year for some reason!! Even after a healthy lunch, I think my blood sugar was just so low. Super cranky, super irritated. Crepes with Mackenzie seemed like the best option. And it was.
A lobster sweater and a Nutella crepe. Yep, good day.
(I also was humming “Far Away” all day long… “I will live my life as a lobsterman’s wife….”)
What’s your favorite sweater of the season?

xoxo

What a great sweater!! It takes something that you would think to be more summer(y) and brings it right into fall.

Love it!
