On My Radar

Ah! This was such a fun week!! Many trips into the city, dinners every night with friends, and a few fun events. Including… an event for the launch of Lilly Pulitzer’s coffee table book. (It also comes in a few gorgeous special editions.) I love coffee table books, and this one is so incredibly well done. It’s packed with content. Never before seen photos, stories of the brand and prints over the years, etc. The book itself is like a work of art. I Ubered home from the event flipping through the pages and couldn’t get over how many details they squeezed into the pages.

Lilly Pulitzer

I wore a black Lilly dress that I’m downright obsessed with. It fits like a dream and it’s a great way to wear Lilly in the winter. While I was in the store, I spotted this really fun navy and pearl reimagined shift dress. Might have to add it to the collection!

Okay, here’s what was on my radar this week:

ONE // J. Crew Sunnies

I usually stick to the classics (Clubmaster, Wayfarer, etc.) when it comes to sunglasses, but I think I might give this new pair from J. Crew a try. They’re on the trendier side, but there’s still something classic about them. Could be a fun addition for vacations!

TWO // The Case Against Adnan Syed

Did you listen to the first season of Serial (the podcast)? I got super into when it first came out and have read probably every article that came out afterward too. HBO just released a trailer for a documentary on the case… I think it’ll be interesting!

THREE // Valentine’s Day Pajamas

How CUTE are these pajamas? Perfect for Valentine’s Day and they’re under $25. I saw a similar pair online that was more than five times that cost!

FOUR // Frances Valentine

I was so happy to see that Rachel Brosnahan is the new face of Frances Valentine, the fashion label Kate Spade started. Rachel is Kate’s niece and she is a perfect fit for the brand. So seamless and a loving tribute too. The ads they’re running right now seem like the original marketing for Kate Spade NY too, which I love!

FIVE // Striped Valentine’s Day Cookies

I have been in the mood to make cookies and I was researching cute Valentine’s Day options. I stumbled on this video of striped cookies with sprinkles from Preppy Kitchen (he’s the best!) and I think these are the ones to do!!! They look a little labor intensive…. but I ~think~ I’m up for the challenge.

I cannot wait for the Adnan Syed documentary – I was OBSESSED with that season of Serial, and went down some real Reddit spirals afterwards trying to learn everything I possibly could about the case!
