On My Radar

I’ve been pretty MIA from my laptop for about a week. Last weekend I was on the Cape for Nicole and Sean’s wedding and then my parents, sister, and I took the ferry over to Nantucket for a family vacation. I have only opened my laptop for an hour (two max) every night. 🙌🏻 It’s just the cherry on top of an already amazing summer.

Here’s what has been on my radar:

ONE // Fleece Vest

THIS IS NOT A DRILL. The best-selling fleece vest is back, people. I get questions about where to get this vest from year-round. It sells out so fast every year, so now’s your chance to get it! 10/10 recommend.

TWO // Cedar Plank Lobster and Shrimp

How divine does this dish look? Grilled shrimp is up there as one of my favorite foods to eat. And, I think this sounds like such a fun meal to make at home to feel a little fancy. We have been using our grills more nights than not at home and I think we need to add some cedar planks into our repertoire!

THREE // Indigo Home

When I posted about my first (and so far only, haha) needlepoint canvas, I actually received a DM from the artist who drew it saying she had followed me for years! Such a small world, but I was so excited to connect with her… especially given we share the same affinity for blue & white. Her Etsy shop is filled with the cutest blue and white accessories for your home. These bathroom canisters are so cheeky.

FOUR // #clearthelists

With back to school happening around the country (either in the past couple of weeks or the next week), there is a major social media movement to #clearthelists. That is, helping teachers get everything they need for the classroom. Teachers have been sharing Amazon wishlists with books and school supplies on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using #clearthelists. If you’re so inclined it’s a pretty easy but impactful way to help a classroom out.

FIVE // Lizzie McGuire Reboot

One of the best television news I’ve heard in a while… Lizzie McGuire is coming back!!! I used to love the show so that alone has me excited about a reboot. BUT, knowing how great Hilary Duff is in Younger has me even more excited about it. Apparently Lizzie will be 30 living in Brooklyn during the series!!!
