Cold Weather

On The Dot

I haven’t been into polka dots for a while now. I think I went a little overboard with them in college/right after college and then got sick of them. But this top has me thinking twice about writing them off for good. In fact, I think they’re drawing me back to the dark side.

Oh, and also, I think this is my first “coat post” of the season. I’m not dreading this winter at all like I usually do. Being in a house with tons of natural light in a cute town (and access to a car and lots of convenient parking) has given me a new lease on winter life. Bring. It. On.

I’m really into the fit of this blouse in general. If the polka dots aren’t your thing, it also comes in an eyelet (in black, wine, and white) and even an eyelet dress.

Love your outfit! The top is really cute! Maybe I need to give polka dots a chance as well…

I was wondering how you keep the hems of your jeans so nice looking. I have the same pair and the frayed part is all over the place by now – would love some advice! 😀

Have you done a post yet about your thoughts on graying hair? I have been going grey since age 26 and as a dark brunette like you, it’s a constant fight. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Not necessarily a full post, but I’m going for it! I don’t mind my greys– and I started going grey as a teenager!

I’m so glad you posted this! I’ve been searching for more fall tops. Is the white/polka dot one sheer at all?
