Labor Day has come and gone. The leaves are legitimately starting to change. And we’ve had a few days of cooler temps. I think it’s still very much summer right now, but this little taste of fall has been oh-so-delicious. I’ve definitely been gravitating towards more fall-inspired outfits that are still appropriate for early September. This chambray dress fits the bill– and it’ll easily transition into later fall too.
I am quite obsessed with this chambray dress. Very easy to wear and super comfortable. It’s a great “blank slate” for outfits. I paired it with my go-to leopard flats and a simple black tote. It would also look great with blush accessories, like these ballet flats.
Besides being a super versatile dress, I also am very pleased that it is available in extended sizes as well. It was such a best seller last year (with hundreds of people on a waitlist) that they brought it back this season.

I love that the dress is available in a full, inclusive size range! It can be difficult to find beautiful and stylish clothes in sizes larger than a 12-14 and I would have never considered even looking at Draper James as a viable option for clothing had I not read your post. Also, so jealous about your cooler weather… it’s still in the 90’s every day down here in Tampa!

I love this simple dress. The shade of Chambray is great because sometimes it can be too light, but this darker shade is so perfect for fall! The leopard you paired with it is perfect, and gosh this makes me excited for all things fall! But I totally agree that summer is still here for a bit!
