I know that this is not a new trend, but I have been so into statement earrings lately. Even this weekend, I threw on a favorite pair of white floral statement earrings with jeans and a white tee. All of a sudden, my outfit was just that much more elevated and I didn’t feel quite so casual. When I feel like being lazy with my outfits, but still want to look put together, a bold pair of earrings is the way to go!
This is an outfit that I wore at the Gasparilla Inn. The dress and earrings are both, unfortunately, from last year and sold out. But could it get more simple than just a white dress and a fun pair of earrings?! Zero effort necessary.

If you’re looking for statement earrings, I think J. Crew and Tuckernuck would be my top recommendations. I went into a J. Crew a couple of weeks ago and wanted so many of the earrings they had. Baublebar is also a great spot if you want something trendy and affordable without being too cheap.

I used to love statement earrings but I can’t wear them anymore. Unfortunately the weight of the earrings caused my earring hole on my right ear to become elongated so now I can only weight lightweight studs. Thankfully Kate Spade has a ton of cute pairs. Plus I have to wear these little ear stickers called Lobewonders. They make special earring backs too but I haven’t tried them yet. Just be careful!!!
You should try those rafia pom poms! They’re SO LIGHT… I’m pretty particular about weight because too heavy hurts my ears and I didn’t even notice those!
